The 3rd Thursday Thunder chapter for JWM is getting set to unfold as the countdown is at 2 days. 2007 was a year of beginnings for JWM as a Bandolero race car team and was full of ups and downs...more downs than ups. 2008 started off a little nerve racking with the transition to Legends cars but proved to be a little easier on the mind toward the middle to end of the season. 2009 is set to be a totally different story seeing as this is the first repeat season in the same type of car since go karts; Meaning that this will be 2 seasons in the same car. The 2009 Thursday Thunder for JWM will be a trying one due to a new transition to the Semi-Pro class which is notorious for rough and competitive racing. Atlanta Motor Speedway is setting the 2009 drivers line-up in each class by age, so this means that some drivers that were in semi-pro last year are being moved down to the newly named "young lions" division which was known as the chargers division, and drivers that were in the young lions are being moved to semi-pro. The changes at hand mean that some drives may not have been ready for this sudden transition to semi-pro therefore making for some good yet potentially scary racing. This is a challenged needed for JWM and will help this team to grow in experience and strength none the less, One word to kind od set the feel for this year is..."Will", the will to put yourself in a position to win is key and that's exactly what will happen this season more so than any other as Thursday Thunder gets ready to take the green flag for the 2009 season.
