Another challenge for JWM.

Well, this week we took the car out on hot laps and we were really loose and I came off the track and we discovered that the right rear tire had to much air and we let it down and I went back out and that fixed the problem, but the hot temperatures caused the track to get excessively slick, then we tried a different combination of air pressures and a different shock adjustment on the right rear and handling wise, this did not hurt the car, but did not really change it either. The engine in itself was noticably slower in the straightaways, and the valve clearance is probably to blame for this, we tried a lower gap number and that's when we noticed this change, so we are going to go back to the original tire pressures and set the valve clearance back to where it was at and just see if these changes were the cause of the problems at hand. This year obviously has been a time of just experimenting and learning what does work and what doesn't. By the grace of God these experiments have not hurt us badly, all of this is making us a better team and is really exciting if you think about it because you never want to get stagnent in racing , you always want to go home that day having learned something and we have learned alot and most of it the hard way.
