The end of Thursday Thunder.

For the last race of Thursday Thunder we placed a mediocer 9th of 15 cars but we placed 9th of 24 cars in the official points results for the Thursday thunder season after 6 top 10's and 1 top 5 after only making 7 of 10 races so with that being said if we can make all 10 races next year then we could easily be a threat for the Thursday Thunder championship. Thanks to all who helped us with this 10 race series, all of our sponsors..Justin Automotive group, Carroll Paint & Body Towing and recovery, A&A Auto Sales, Elrod Electrical & Plumbing and Jackie Jones Enterprise Pet Sitting. We all look forward to the rest of the year and next Thursday Thunder and getting to race for you! "On to Lanier."

July 31st. "To be continued"

This week we were pretty excited to see what the night was to hold for us prior to the success we have had over the past 2 weeks, Jeffrey our crew member is still out of town but to return the later in the night after our race. The whole night there was a possible threat of rain but AMS did goof to get the heat races in and they tried for the first feature of the night but about 6 laps into the semi-pro race it started rained therefore they tried to run in the rain but on a restart Currie Peirce spun around in front of the feild plus multple other crashes due to a slick track, so they called the race resulting in double features for the last week of Thursday Thunder which is to be held on august 2nd. In our heat race I started on the outside pole and on the green we all bottlenecked into the first turn and I just let them go to keep the car out of trouble as did the guy who started on the pole , him and I just stayed in the back and raced each other. I slowly reeled the 7 car in and got right on his bumper and on the last lap I over drove turns 1 and 2 and it was to late to make it up. So in the heat we finished 5th of 6 cars and could have easily had a 4th place finish if I hadn't have overdrove, but , race and learn. We will be back for next week on the 10th and final week of Thursday Thunder to make up for the rain shortened week 9 and we are excited for what is in store.

July 24th continueing momentum

This week we kept the confidence high and the momentum rolling as we drove through the tunnels for our 4th week of Legends racing. We went out in the heat race fast as usual with a 5th place out of 7 cars, we never really push in the heat race so we will have a better chance of making it in the feature race. Moving on into the night hours we went out onto the grid for our feature race about 9:30pm and we started 14th of 15 cars kinda a scary place to start in the chargers. When the race went green a crash started immediatly and the caution came out, we gained 2 positions right there, after about 3 caution laps we got the signal to go green and went about 3 green flags laps until the next crash and it happened right in front of us and reacting just in time we got by it; that crash having taken place we gained another 3 positions and went green again and after making it through multiple other crashes the circumstances at hand set up a green, white, checkered restart, and the time for the green flag came and when the leader Amber Colvin did not fire on time the 2nd place cars spun her around causing a chain reaction crash resulting in a 5 car pile up giving us the advantage of a 5th place finish after passing multiple cars due to the crash. We had a successful night non the less after having survived such a vicious race and we are excited to come back next week for round 5.

July 11th. On the climb to a 6th place finish.

Carrying momentum from the 4th of july event we went into the Atlanta Speedway a little more confident. In the heat race we knew that we were fast then the feature race came around and 15 cars showed up and we were a little nervous. The race went green and caution after caution came out after crash after crash took place, we made it through every crash and capitolized on everyone elses mistakes to eventually take home a 6th place finish of 15 cars which is a very successful night.

4th of July event at the Atlanta Motor Speedway 2008

Well it's been a year since our first bandolero race that took place on the 4th of July event of 2007. This year was quite a difference, it was our 2nd Legends race. We finished 8th of 10 cars and on the lead lap, that was a small goal met for the team. Jeffrey and I had a few of our best friends there with us, Bonnie and Shelby Jones from Calhoun GA. We had an amazing time and we are more than ready for round 3.
