Tonight's running of Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder series has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder will return on June 11 for the second week of the 10-week season.
The second week of Thursday Thunder is Georgia Auto Racing Hall of Fame Night and Clayton County Chamber of Commerce Night. The evening will include a Kid's Candy & Coin scramble and a vintage race car display from the Georgia Auto Racing Hall of Fame, in addition to a full slate of Legends, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing on Atlanta Motor Speedway's one-quarter mile "Thunder Ring."
Featuring a full schedule of short-track racing, Thursday Thunder is an affordably-priced entertainment option that offers something for spectators of all ages. Tickets are just $5 for adults and $1 for children 6-11 (children ages five and under are free) for each evening of family fun and grass-roots racing.
