7th place finish with new setup makes for the 6th top 10 finish in a row.

It was no walk in the park trying to get used to this new Billy Fulson setup on the 23 car. The hot laps truely showed how different the car is and how bad it handled before. The heat race was a little rocky having started out in the middle of the pack and on the last lap getting passed to finished last of 7 cars..not exactly what we are used to. The Feature was to be the greatest challenge of all. The green flag dropped with us starting in 13th of 14 cars.; After dodging crashes, capitalizing on others misfortunes and picking up a position at a time, we worked our way to the 7th position of 14 cars, putting us up to 6th in overall points standings at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for Thursday Thunder 2009 with just 4 races to go.
